featuring Robert Therrien's overscale work, the films creative placed an emphasis on the relationship to scale in the space at new york city’s park armory. drawing a direct parallel to marc jacobs iconic folding chairs that line the only rows on his runway each season, therrien’s work is the perfect gateway, literally, to the world of the fashion house.
For three consecutive seasons, I've worked with Marc Jacobs to capture video and stills that convey the energy of each collection and the show itself, both as presented to guests and from behind the send. Working with their team in both the Park Armory and the Stephens branch of The New York Public Library to capture epic and textural feeling runway content, we created memorable and cinematic output that reflects the beauty of the clothing of each season.
